What brings you here?

You may find yourself in one of these experiences or somewhere in between.

  • NICU & Medical Trauma

When birth or a medical event becomes a crisis, it can be disorienting and overwhelming. Time in the NICU or ICU, unexpected complications, or caring for a medically complex family member can have lasting emotional effects, long after the immediate crisis has passed. I work with parents and individuals carrying these experiences, helping them process what happened and move forward with greater steadiness, connection, and integration, even amidst uncertainty.

  • Trauma & EMDR

I often sit with people whose past experiences don’t feel entirely in the past. Even when life has moved on, trauma can linger, showing up in ways that are hard to name or move through. When it’s feels like a good fit, I incorporate EMDR, an evidence-based approach I’ve used with many clients to reprocess distressing memories. I also incorporate somatic and psychodynamic approaches, always at a pace that feels steady and manageable for each client.

  • Grief, Relationships and Life Transitions

I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Often, people come to therapy at moments when something fundamental has shifted, whether a loss, a rupture, a diagnosis, a growing sense of disconnection, or simply the realization that life no longer feels the way it once did. These experiences can shake us to our core, while also revealing strengths and capacities we may not have known we possessed. I work with clients to honor what has been lost, and gradually find ways to move forward with greater meaning, connection, and resilience.
